1989 Marilyn Merlot…
…used a publicity still for the label from the 1950 MGM movie “The Asphalt Jungle“. Starring Sterling Hayden, Louis Calhern, Jean Hagen, Sam Jaffe, James Whitmore, and Marilyn Monroe who played Angela Phinlay, the mistress of a lawyer involved in a jewel robbery.
Of the twenty (20) labels in the series this is my least favorite due to the digitally enhanced appearance of the image. The original photo was in B&W as a lot of publicity stills were in the 1930′s, 40′, & 50′s.
